Kedar Deshpande, M.D.
Leader In Interventional Pain Management
Pain is something that we all handle differently, and affects our ability to function. At the Orthopaedic & Spine Center new patients will be seen within 3 days after calling to schedule an appointment. Surgery isn’t always the best answer. There are other options. Call us today!
Our goal at the Orthopaedic & Spine Center is to help our patients improve their quality of life by reducing their pain level and improving their daily functioning. We do this with interventional procedures that are safe, minimally invasive, and highly effective. Our comprehensive treatment plans reduce patient risks and maximize benefits. At the Orthopaedic & Spine Center we are committed to protect our patients from the significant risks that are associated with opioid therapy, which are also known as narcotic medications. Our physicians will not prescribe medication during a patients initial visit. Patients are required to successfully complete the pain pathway. Opioid medications will only be prescribed if a patient’s pathology warrants their use, the patient meets specific criteria, and the patients pain level has not improved with other lower risk treatment options.
When visiting the Orthopaedic & Spine Center patients can expect a comprehensive approach.
A thorough evaluation is performed for each patient, which is correlated with physical exam findings and imaging studies to develop a personalized treatment plan. Depending on each specific pain or spine condition, recommendations may include imaging studies, electro diagnostic studies, nutritional counseling, physical therapy, psychological assessment, pharmacotherapy, and interventional procedures to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for every patient.
